PCOS Machine Errors | Philippine Presidential Elections

What are PCOS Machine Errors?
Few days from now and we will be voting for the first time in the so called, 2010  Automated Presidential Elections. But seemed sad that big problems were occurring just in time. PCOS Machines tend to malfunction based on the testing made by experts.

Tests of automated poll machines deployed in some Metro Manila areas and Luzon provinces have turned up discrepancies between the automated and manual counts, according to reports. Glitches were experienced and recorded during the first day of tests undertaken for precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines deployed in Makati and Muntinlupa cities and Pateros municipality and Batangas and Mindoro provinces, the same reports said.

In Batangas, votes cast for the Liberal Party were instead recorded for its rival Nacionalista Party, LP poll watchers said on Monday, the same day the Comelec revealed plans that certain individuals were planning to delay voting or disenfranchise voters.

These are just sample experiences of PCOS Machine errors which were happened in different parts of the country. Let us just pray that these prior malfunctions or errors in PCOS Machines will not lead to bigger problems on Monday, May 10, 2010.
